Magnesium hydroxide can be used as a flame retardant such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, triathoolite, unsaturated polyester and other plastic and rubber. It can also be used as a flame retardant for coatings.
Magnesium hydroxide is used as wastewater treatment, desertation of heavy metals, treatment of seal and dyeing wastewater, treatment of arsenic and wastewater, etc.
