Applications in Glass Fibers
Magnesium oxide grades required for glass production have specific properties and are used to produce liquid crystal display (LCD) substrates in electronic devices such as smartphone, tablet, computer or TV screens. This magnesia is often used to replace dolomite as a source of magnesia for the production of special glasses to improve mechanical strength, enabling selection of the best grade of magnesia to bring high performance to glass applications.
MgO Applications
Another use of magnesium oxide can be used as neutral agents, magnesium oxide alkali, good adsorption performance, and can be used as a neutral agent for acidic exhaust gas, wastewater treatment, heavy metals and organic waste liquid treatment. With the improvement of environmental protection requirements, domestic demand has grown rapidly.
Magnesium oxide can be used as optical coatings.
Magnesium oxide is mainly used to prepare raw materials for ceramic, enamel, refractory cooker and refractory brick. It is also used as a promoter and activator for abrasive adhesives and paper.
